Our Story

Oliver is the Principal and General Partner of UrbanRise Investments. His passion for real estate started at a young age through his grandparents Sol and Marcia who had bought, without any real estate experience, some Industrial Land in Southern California back in the 60’s.

They were both children of Immigrants from Eastern Europe and had taken a leap of faith by investing with a Partner in this very undeveloped area surrounded by agricultural Land and sheep. Their investment paid off through the years and they achieved the archetypal American Dream.
Oliver was inspired by their story and knew he would be involved in real estate in one way or another.

After graduating as a construction engineer from l’Ecole des Hautes Etudes d’Ingenieur (HEI) in Lille, France, Oliver started his career in Paris, his hometown, working in construction quality control and then affordable housing development.

However, he had big dreams and decided to move to California in 2015 and settled in Berkeley, CA where he now lives with his wife Tatiana and 2 kids, Arthur and Ella.

After 2 years working in the development team with Lennar Urban followed by several other opportunities with  San Francisco Bay Area developers, Oliver started UrbanRise Investments to bring his expertise to Investors looking to capitalize on opportunities in the Bay Area.
